IMPORTANT
2025-03-23 - EDIT: I released updates for every single one of my themes, cleaning the code of every single one and adding a bug fix for the text of some parts of the Chrome UI (text was an unreadable grey for every theme, now it matches the tab text color), this will affect all my themes. I hope to see if any of this changes actually fixes the issues stated below, but if not, I'll continue working.
Some users got me aware of an issue with Google Chrome on Mac OS. It may or may not be happening in all the themes of the Chrome Web store. Sadly, I don't own a Mac, but I'm planning on getting one in the next months in order to fix this issue for my Apple users. The issues are the next two:
Cursor in the URL bar. Somehow, the cursor disappears when you click on the bar.
Selection box of text is invisible in the URL bar. When you try to select a part of a text in the URL bar, it selects the text but the selection is invisible, you know, the blue rectangle that appears when you select a part of a text.
My conclusion for now is that this is a Chrome - Mac OS incompatibility with some or all third party themes, even with an extension, but I'm doing my research. Please note that Google Chrome doesn't let developers of themes change those two things: cursor when writing and blue selection rectangle, so it is totally impossible to have code on a theme to change this.
For now, I invite you to check my new themes Flamingo Light and Good Pretender which are part of my new Project Crucible (more info in Themes). Or you can also check the big update that I released a couple of nights ago to Born Dandy or the small but noticeable update to Relentless (a little bit lighter).
